James Yeoburn is a British theatre producer, entrepreneur and investor based in London.
James originally trained as an actor, working in London, around the UK and internationally in theatre, opera and musicals before turning to producing full time in 2013.
In 2012 he co-founded United Theatrical with a dedication to crafting memorable theatre and music productions. As the company's Executive Director and Producer James leads on a number of projects, from development through to execution, and is charged with inspiring the overall business vision, financial model and growth.
With United Theatrical, James launched the London Musical Theatre Orchestra and was the organisation's first Executive Director from 2015-2017 producing Rodgers and Hammerstein's State Fair (Cadogan Hall); Alan Menken, Lynn Ahrens and Mike Ockrent's A Christmas Carol-- with Robert Lindsay (Lyceum); and Jason Robert Brown's Honeymoon in Vegas-- with Samantha Barks and Arthur Darvill (London Palladium).
Born and raised in the countryside of Devon, England, James worked at a young age under the mentorship of Maurice Marshall MBE at the Exeter Northcott Theatre, in the technical department for visiting and in- house productions. He is a graduate of the Leeds College of Music, Exeter College and the London School of Musical Theatre.
As well as his work as a producer, James maintains an active interest in the wider international business community and has contributed to a number of start-ups and growth-stage businesses in technology, childcare and consumer internet.
